It's been far to long. Partially due to the fact I had stopped using dating sites--and well….meeting people in the salon world isn't really easy to do.
I have continued to talk with a guy who I can talk to about anything--and even have moments of venting to--and he gets where I'm coming from, the only problem is he doesn't live nearby and at this point I have concluded that it's just purely friendship and that's that…which you know, I'll take.
I rejoined the world of Jdate in hopes that it wasn't still a shit-show. I was pleasantly surprised after having a fantastic date with a guy here in Chicago--we had planned a second date to which….ladies please tell me I'm not alone in this…I had to bail ''I was sick''="My eye is freaking the size of a watermelon and I feel like an ugly big eyed fly.''
We had chatted about possibly getting together again after he was back from a business trip/vacation travel….He's not great at getting back to messages well….but I guess the ball is in his court so to speak.
After all that--I had a client who I let set me up on a date, and while it was kind of exciting to be set on a ''blind date'' there just was no chemistry what-so-ever.
Strike 3….or if I'm using stories from the blog….strike #1,256 I'd be out…WAAAAAAAY out of the game…of the ballpark even if we were going off baseball.
So tonight I've been putzing* around Jdate and yet again, shouldn't be surprised but I am at the amount of either OLD men viewing me or attempting to send a message [or a ''flirt''] on top of that….there is someone with the user name TheIinTeam REALLY!?! I want NOTHING to do with you with that user name already and you just topped it off by having a ''mirror'' selfie with a man-tank on….
I throw in the cards….but never fully….I apparently like to hold onto one at the very small hope that luck will change. Maybe this guy that I had to cancel on will get back with me….maybe something would happen with the guy out of state…who knows. I sure as hell don't….
